Dr. Cheri Aldrich graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and joined a mixed animal practice, where she cared for both large and small animals. She then began working at a primarily small animal practice here in the Des Moines area. Most recently, Dr. Aldrich has been involved with shelter medicine and trap-neuter-return programs throughout Central Iowa. She especially enjoys the endless variety of cases, animals, and people she meets every day that make veterinary medicine so interesting and rewarding.
Dr. Aldrich shares her country home with her husband, a dog, two cats, three horses, and 15 chickens. Her favorite pass time is riding and training her horses, which she shows locally and through competitive trail rides.
